Hello La Beauté, Louis Vuitton’s First Makeup Line

Today is the day! The Louis Vuitton makeup line, La Beauté, has launched.  I almost want to put launch in air quotes as today starts the can pre-orders of the La Beauté collection yay! This collection – which I would almost describe as defining luxury beauty – is under the creative direction of the legendary Dame Pat McGrath.  has officially launched digital pre-orders for its first-ever makeup line, La Beauty.

I have a majority crush on the sleek, monogram-adorned packaging and I can not wait to check out the products – I have read from those lucky enough to get their hands on the products early the formulas meticulously crafted and no detail was overlooked.

From the La Beauté collection are the top four products I have my eye on:

1. LV Rouge: The cornerstone of the collection, these lipsticks feature a stunning 55-shade range, a subtle nod to the Roman numerals for LV. Available in creamy satin and velvety matte finishes, each shade was hand-picked by Pat McGrath herself to provide intense, long-lasting color. At $265 each (with refills for $115), they are positioned as a true luxury signature.
2. LV Baume: A lighter, luminous alternative to the lipstick, the LV Baume comes in 10 sheer-glow shades. Priced at $265, these hydrating lip balms offer a lightweight, buildable formula that feels soft and supple on the lips, perfect for a subtle hint of color. Refills are available for $115.
3. Ombres Complete Eyeshadows: Has a more beautiful eyeshadow palette ever existed? The LV Ombres collection, priced at $420, consists of eight four-color palettes with finishes ranging from ultra-matte to gleaming glitter. According to Dame Pat McGrath, these pigment-rich shadows “set the tone” for the entire line, made to be bold and unforgettable. Refills are available for $150.
4. Leather Goods: Extending the brand’s signature craftsmanship, La Beauté includes a dedicated line of small leather goods. Featuring the iconic monogram canvas, these extremely chic accessories are designed to house your newly beloved lipsticks and palettes, turning your beauty routine into a truly luxurious ritual.
