Welcome to the last day of White Out week! Five posts this week all featuring the color that kicks it into high gear after Memorial Day Weekend. Speaking of seasonal white you may recall the old adage that you can not wear white after labor day, but I love to break the rules. Just like I like wearing white in winter I love taking historically cold weather fabric and pairing it with Spring and Summer looks which brings us to today’s white and velvet outfit!
The amazing French brand, Alexandre de Paris, sent me this headband last weekend and it is oh so chic. is on the pricier side but as my Mom has been saying for the last few years; you should be buying investment pieces that you’d have and wear in 10+ years. She may not know the term fast fashion but this headband is the opposite of it.
I wanted to shoot this headband the day I got it but the London weather had other ideas. You may recall from my Instagram stories that it has rained (or hailed) nearly every day for the past two weeks. It was raining on Sunday when Mark took these photos too but we popped out onto the balcony during a dry spell. You can see from my hair in the photos it was insanely windy but hey, it was dry. Take a look:

Than you again Alexandre de Paris team for gifting me this beautiful headband! And I almost didi not include this last shot because it is a bit all over the place but when I saw it my first reaction was woah, a Marilyn moment and thought you all might get a laugh from it:

What do you think of this white and velvet look?

Flower Power for the Win
Feeling Springy in a Pink Dress
Stockholm Style at the Royal Palace
Delightful in Blue Abstract Dress

I love this little white dress with the wedge sandals on you. I can tell you are ready for summer weather. For me as long as its dry weather & warm enough I will wear white at anytime of the year. For this year I wore a white dress 4 times already. 1 time when I was in Florida in March and because of the warmer than average spring here in New York I wore white dress 3 more times. I want to wear a white dress for a family party on Sunday but it will be too cold here for that. Instead its a jumpsuit and heels.

Asos is not a shop I ever think of for clothes but you have found some really cute ones!
