Less than two weeks until Christmas? How on earth is that possible? If you are a fan of gel nails you likely go at least 10 days between updates or fills so I wanted to share these 22 ideas for Christmas nails before it is too late! Taking a look back this is my 11th post dedicated to manicures which averages out to one a year given 11 years of Sparkles & Shoes. I would like to think in that time the quality of my posts have improved but it always surprises me when a very old post starts trending, like this one on Holiday Nails from 2013! When I saw this combined with many pretty options on Pinterest I decided it was about time for an update. Without further ado:

Which of these manicure ideas is your favorite? Would you get Christmas nails?

I have not had these kind of nails done before mostly because I am hesitant about finding the right person to do them well given how much it costs to have them done.
Do you have any suggestions how to go about finding someone? My friends don’t really do this either and I feel awkward asking a stranger whose nails I like.

Hmm, I think I like the candycane looking nails the best and it will be a fantastic look with my little black dress that I am wearing to a few holiday parties.
Some of the others look pretty cool too and will save them for the next few years. So many cute ideas to choose from.

Oh just in time…going to get my nails done tomorrow for all of my holiday parties and for the big day. I am going to show my nail technician these and see which ones she can do. Some of these are really over the top so not sure what she can do but it sure will give her a lot of inspirations.
Hopefully she can do either the holiday sparkle, I really like the white nail with the jewels on them or the sparkled Santa Claus and if nothing else it will give her some ideas on what to order for embellishments for next year.

Who thinks these up…people are so clever and that is a skill that I truly admire. They are artwork and I hate to think that it all goes away after a week or two.

Great ideas Kelly for a Christmas manicure. My pick would be the 1st one ginger rbread and the red fancy Christmas one. This would work for the feet too. I had my house Christmas Party Friday night and we all had a blast. I had a little black dress with killer heels to show off my pedicure. My girlfriend changed shoes when she arrived and we had matching pedicures.
