Now that 2018 is off to a good start for most of us and resolutions are well under way I am excited to share with you all half a dozen companies that I think you should know about. When putting together this list I started with more than 25 companies I shop from, love, and want to make sure you are all aware but let’s face, I talk about Kate Spade a lot and featuring them on this list wouldn’t be a surprise to most. Therefore, for this introduction post I made a few criteria – I had to have learned about the company in the last six months, they can not be mainstream or super public, i.e. a public stock, and I can not have written about them before.
These three criteria quickly whittled the list of nearly 30 companies to six that I want to share with you all today and to be fair, I am going to go in alphabetical order!

Cloverpost – There is something so special about handcrafted jewelry and this brand makes all of their pieces in Nashville, Tennessee. These open sculpture inspired earrings, this gold plated pendant, and this freshwater single pearl necklace are my current favorites and I can not be the only one who likes this jewelry as massive retailers have picked them up including Lou+Grey, Shopbop and Urban Outfitters. Oh, and as an added bonus most of their pieces are under $100 – you can thank me later.
The Divine Company -This Australian skin care company just launched in the US and all of their products are certified organic. With the freezing weather we have been having recently here on the East Coast they sent me their Miracle Oil Serum to try and I am eagerly awaiting for it to arrive. Look for a review in an upcoming post with special code for a percentage off the entire women’s collection!
Headspace – When I first heard about this app that teaches people to meditate I was skeptical but the more I read the more impressed I was – created by former Buddhist monk? Over nine million users? Jared Leto uses it and invests? Okay then, it was time to dig in and now I can count myself among those nine million people – I think this will be a great way to help achieve the balance I am looking for in 2018! It is available for both Android and IOS and you can learn more about Headspace here!
LOLISTRAW – This new company by LOLIWARE has made the the world’s first edible straw. The 500,0000,000 plastic straws used every day is atrocious and these hyper-compostable straws are just one step in helping diminish this number. And if you decide eating them is not for you, it will decompose in soil in two months or less – how awesome is that? Currently they are only available on pre-order through KickStarter but I think this is one you are going to see more of!
Knixwear – For being a fashion blogger one thing I am really not okay with is itchy or unconformable clothes, especially when it comes to undergarments which is why I was thrilled to learn about Knixwear and their award winning bras and undies. How does underwear win awards? By being so comfortable that people don’t want to take it off! Plus a bra that is both wireless and seamless sounds amazing in my book!
Viking Waffles – You may have seen these on my Snapchat or Instastories but their Vanilla Protein Viking Waffles are absolutely incredible! When some of the first ingredients are made with eggs, cottage cheese, oat flour, and coconut flour I was a bit hesitant but with 21 grams of protein and only 160 calories for the whole waffle these really are spot on! For more information how how to order you can head to the Viking Waffles website here or just stay tuned to my Snap for what I am sure will be more delicious waffles soon!
