A Casual Martha’s Vineyard Outfit

After writing the title of this post I realize to most people the vineyard would refer to one of hundreds of locations where wine is grown but in this case, that is not what I am referring to.  When we were back in the United States last month Mark, Lily, and I took the ferry from Cape Cod and spent a day on Martha’s Vineyard. Martha’s Vineyard is an island 7 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. You can only get to Martha’s Vineyard by ferry or by plane — there is no bridge! Very specifically we took a boat from From Falmouth ​on Cape Cod to Oaks Bluff. which was just under an hour each way.

From Oaks Bluff we took the local bus, with stroller and all, to the much cuter town of Edgartown. We had a nice wander around the town full of adorable shops and beautiful homes, and since Lily had finally fallen asleep in her pram, decided to walk down to the Edgartown Harbor Light. I had not planned on taking outfit photos but the background was too pretty to pass up and I thought it would be a great example of posting “real” outfits here on the blog,.
