This picture of Lily and I on the Pont de l’Alma with the Eiffel Tower? I will treasure it forever. On Friday morning Mark asked me if we should go to Paris and less than 24 hours we were on a train to France – crazy! Spur of the moment travel has always been a favorite hobby of mine but it is a bit different with a baby. If you have been watching my Instagram stories you will know that Lily has been teething and in general, not having a great time of it lately. Sad squishy. However, we had friends in Paris – the best man at our wedding and his family – and it was too good of an opportunity to pass up! I traded my DSLR and chic shoes for a pram (baby stroller) and nappy bag (diaper bag) but that’s the life stage we are in right now.
We were actually in France for more than 24 hours but discounting the traveling, unpacking, and packing, it was really 24 hours of doing things. Thus, here are photos from 1pm on Saturday to 1pm on Sunday. There were quite a few things I did not take photos of, including all meals, an actual shocker, but I did get a snaps of us as a family as well as some gorgeous places. Take a look our weekend in Paris:

Lily is one lucky and adorable little bundle of joy.
You even make traveling with a baby look like a piece of cake and of course she is stylish as well. Cute outfits for both of you and those sights.
I definitely have travel envy. Can’t believe how much you saw toting around a little one.

Lily is sooo cute and sorry about the teething. Ouch.
Photos are great and I especially liked the last one. You always have such a great eye finding just the right original angle from which to take a shot. Kuddos.

You are so inspirational to have a “Spur of the Moment Trip to Paris” with a four month old.
You put most of us to shame that we keep making excuses not to travel and you make it look so easy.
Also super helpful with London as a launching pad.
You go girl.
