Hello and Welcome to Fashion Friday! It is crazy to me that on some September mornings in France we started biking when the temperature was below freezing and some mornings in New Hampshire last month were equally is cold. However England is holding at a steady 50-60°F which makes the process of switching to a Winter wardrobe a bit tricky.
Switching topics for a moment – but I promise it will relate – I have mentioned a few times that I did not have the best experience in high school. I went to a private Catholic all-girls school and to put it bluntly, my classmates were mean girls. Some said hurtful things that nearly two decades later I can still remember for verbatim and one such comment “hats look terrible on you with your head shape”. I don’t recall the context of the conversation but I then avoided hats for more than 10 years.
However starting a fashion blog in 2012 has meant my fashion choices have broadenex and looking back I have posted a few photos over the years in black hats and straw hats but have never branched out into color and now I wonder what made me wait so long?
This Lisianthus Women Belt Buckle Red Fedora Hat was an impulse purchase from Amazon last year and my two favorite features are that it has an adjustable strap inside and that is made of 65% Cotton making it breathable. Actually, I take that back, the best aspect of this hat is the bright red color. Take a look:

Never would have thought of getting a red hat…I wear a lot of black and tan so this would really add an often badly needed pop of color.
It will also be easy for my friends to find me in a crowd when we go shopping or touring arourd. I will be so stylish.
