With most reoccurring events in life there is a mid way point – are you closer to the last time or closer to the next time – let me explain. Christmas, for instance. For the first half of the year (January to June) you are closer in time to last Christmas, but after July rolls around, you are closer to the following Christmas than the one that past. Why do I bring this up? Because my wonderful mother took these photos when she was last in London and now I am happy to report, we are closer to the next time I am going to see her (in Budapest, in four weeks) than the last time.
I wore this particular outfit to dinner at a steak restaurant and then to the theater to see Come From Away (you can read my review here) . While my dad and my grandmother went ahead to pick up the tickets and get settled in the seats we stopped at this little park a block and a half from the theater for a few photos. You have seen almost ever piece here (the dress, the shoes, the necklace) before but I have never worn them together and the bag, a souvenir from Bali, is making its’ maiden debut. Yes I like the dress and have one similar to it myself that I adore travelling with as it packs really well and doesn’t show the wrinkles at all.

That bag is a great find and must bring back wonderful memories of your trip to Bali. I like it with the shoes too and lightens up the whole outfit a bit. Makes it less formal but I can see how with black heels and purse you can dress up the dress, haha to make it more of a great evening look.
