Summer Nail Ideas for Your Next Manicure

Summer is coming!  It is hard to believe that Memorial Day is only a few days away and that Summer officially starts next month.  There are signs around every corner – from the longer days to the warmer weather and even the fact that my post on Summer Nails has started trending on Pinterest.  While I love nearly all of the manicure ideas I shared last July I wanted to get ahead of this season and share Summer Nail ideas with you all today.

Rather than it being difficult to put together this round up it was actually hard to cut down to my top picks. I found so much inspiration from nail polish bands (think Opi, Essie, Zoya, Orly) as well as two of my forever favorites; Instagram and Pinterest! I had to make a cut off so I did not include any completely solid nail designs but did include ones with just one statement nail – one of my personal faves! And I must admit, having gone to a nail class last year I found out how hard hand painted nails are – even things that are “supposed to be easy” like a dotting tool to make daisies – nope…  It gave me even greater respect for the talent needed to create some of these summer nail ideas, take a look:

One big trend I did not include is painting one hand one color and another, a completely different color – a bit too out there but some of them, well, to each their own. As I mentioned, I could have kept going but hopefully one of these 22 Summer nail ideas got you inspired to stay on-trend for the season!
