Growing up I was not allowed to paint my nails as part of my school dress code so when I went to university I went a bit nuts. For swim meets I would do nails and toes in navy blue, our team colors, and would play with all sorts of different hues. Then in 2014 I was introduced to Kiss Nails and for the past 6 years have almost always had a statement nail. The last two months have been a bit different as i am doing my bridal manicure trial but I am going back soon and ready to be inspired.
Over the past few weeks every time I have come across a gorgeous manicure i have saved it in a folder called summer nails to share with all of you (and with the nail technician at the salon). My only criteria has been that it needs to be beyond a manicure in one color and my picks range from pastel rainbows to holographic beauties. Take a look at these ideas to make your manicure pop and a few that you could even try at home:

I have seen quite a few variations on many of these but never the one of the Pink, Matte, and Rose Gold Foil.
Going to have to show this to my nail person and see if she can do it.
Clever.

Sending this to my sister who is a nut about her nails. I really don’t get all the fuss about it but I know there are many people like her who always want the latest thing in this area.
She will think I am really up on the latest trends…haha

Minimalist Stripes by Drybar London is my top choice. I have to go to a snazzy event next weekend and I am going to show them these photos and hopefully they can recreate these minimalist stripes for me.
Fingers crossed!

I am getting married in September and was trying to figure out what to do for my bridal party and their nails.
You saved me, I just sent this post to them to get their thoughts. So many ideas that I have never seen.

Kelly. I love every one of these summer nail color ideas. For me this summer when I get my bi weekly mani/pedi I have gone with bright pink, red, currently baby blue and orange. I might try one of these for my next mani.

I can’t tell which one I like the best. You certainly showcase a huge variety. It’s amazing how many styles there are now.
