Okay, I admit it, Fall is finally here. For our day out on Saturday I packed two different jackets and resigned myself that Summer is over. It feels a bit odd to be pulling out cashmere sweaters as I pack for my tropical honeymoon at the same time but that is a challenge I think I can handle. In the last decades one of the terms that has become synonymous with Fall is pumpkin spice.
Some thinks Starbucks owns the market with their pumpkin spice latte and while it is crazy popular it is insane to me that the medium size (a grande) has 380 calories which includes 50 grams of sugar, eek! Today I am skipping over that drink to talk more about the flavour pumpkins baked in simmering spices of clove, nutmeg and cinnamon, and sweetened with brown sugar. While it is one of the most basic things about Autumn I have come to like the flavor and wanted to share my round of of all of the pumpkin spice things you can eat and drink as this trend continues to explode!

Love this time of year and when we go apple picking they often have home made pumpkin donuts that are still warm.
One of my favorite fall things to do and eat.
Great suggestions Kelly.
