My parents had their annual dessert and cocktails party on Saturday night and I knew I wanted to make a signature cocktail. I was still toying around with a bunch of ideas when one of my long time partners, TheBar.com, approached me. You may recall my posts where I have worked with Smirnoff in the past (here and here) and now I had the chance to work with Cîroc and make a great cocktail featuring their product.
Because it was a holiday party I knew I wanted to make a drink that was not only red and festive but also something that would taste tropical as the outdoor party was on a warm 75 degree evening. I had tried the regular Cîroc vodka before, but never the peach so when I tasted it for the first time my initial idea of a cocktail mixed with cranberry juice went out the window and a fruit I have been enjoying down here on my vacation, pomegranate, came to the forefront. After a few trial and error drinks (which were tasty nonetheless) I came up with a great cocktail for New Year’s Eve:
[yumprint-recipe id=’6′] After enjoying one by myself in a champagne glass I made a whole tray and served them at the outdoor soiree where almost 100 people were in attendance!
It was delicious I highly recommend you try this peach and pomegranate cocktail if you are still looking for a drink for tomorrow night you should try it!
