I just took off my second pair of press on nails and I could not be more impressed. I first mentioned last week that I tried them very hesitantly after hearing great things from a woman who had tried them for the first time. The Kiss team gave me two sets of imPRESS press-on manicures (but they are in no way sponsoring this post) and I decided to start with the nude color in case I messed up. I learned very quickly though, these press on nails are very difficult to mess up, and I actually spent more time picking out the sizes for each nail than I did putting them on.
I have never tried any sort of stick on nail before but these imPRESS manicure sets are apparently one of the best you can buy for under $10. As I am no expert but I will take them at their word – their patent technology that is amazing. You open the container, use the alcohol pad to clean your nails, pick out the sizes, lay them out, peel the stickers off all of the nails, and press them on to your own. It is that simple!
As someone who has never had long nails I found them a bit tricky on the first day – I struggled with opening the clasp to my necklace, peeling the foil off my single serving hummus, opening a Diet Coke can, and twisting the paper towel wheel. However, after day five I was hooked – these nails are amazing and everyone thinks they are really good gels – win win!
I love how they look so much I actually headed to the drug store and picked up this pack called Symphony, the combination of the pale pink and gold glitter was just too pretty to resist! (Seen here and here on Instagram) You can probably tell if I have already purchased the product and decided to write a blog post about it they must be pretty great? Well, you would be right, five stars!
I almost gave the nails a 4.5 star review because I found the removal process a bit more difficult than advertised – the nails do peel off but it takes a bit of force and there is occasionally a bit of glue residue left on your nail. But I did not because on the flip side, this means they are really on there and are not likely going to fall off. I must agree with my friends and coworkers, I think they look like gel for a fraction of the price!
Have you ever tried press on nails?

So cute and they look so real! I totally have a tendency to pick off fake nails… it’s the worst habit of all time.

I used to use press on nails in high school, but that’s been years ago. The designs and colors now are so much more interesting and fun.
