By the time you are reading this I will be in New York for the bank holiday weekend (Monday, August 26th is a holiday in the UK) and you better believe I will be going a bit crazy on my Instagram with updates. This will be an interesting trip, and thank you for all of your input a few weeks ago, as it is my boyfriend’s first time in NYC and I want to do all of my favorite things. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Last weekend I had such a lovely two days exploring my new home town. Everything from the Olafur Eliasson modern art exhibit at the Tate to a lovely steak dinner at Hawksmoor to my first visit to the the Churchill War Rooms to picking out my dream homes in Kensington.
Speaking of Kensington, it really is one of the most gorgeous neighbourhoods in London and it is easy to see why many of it’s streets top the list of most expensive in all of the United Kingdom. In the heart of Kensington, just off Brompton Road and a 10 minute walk from Harrods’ is the Parent Trap House. Yes, it really does exist in real life, 23 Egerton Terrace in case you want to pay it a visit! And what better place for an outfit post for Fashion Friday! And to be honest, I could link to the exact shoes that I am wearing but as I did not find them very comfortable (even though it was my 5th time wearing them) I did not want to link to them / recommend them to you all. I do not think it is is that they need to be broken in more but rather they are very tippy wedges and this might be the last time I bring them out, thus I have linked to a similar pair below that a number of people have recommended.
Top | J. Crew Slim perfect long-sleeve T-shirt Shorts | Reserved Paperbag Waist Shorts
Sunglasses | Quay Australia It’s My Way Sunglasses . Earrings | Vanessa Mooney The Astrid Knotted Tassels
Shoes | Black Cork Wedges (similar)
Would you want to visit the Parent Trap House?
