The Queen of Monochrome

Have you ever had the experience when someone says ten years ago you think back to the days of boy bands and hair gel when really ten years ago was 2011?  This happens to me quite frequently and most recently when I was putting together this post.  I knew I had featured the fabulous Blair Eadie as one of my Style Icons in the past but if I had to guess, I would have said three or four years ago.  Turns out it was eight!  However, I still love her and her wardrobe as much today as I did when I first did that feature.

As a New Yorker the default assumption would be that a fashion blogger from this city loves black or neutral looks but Blair is the exact opposite.  Just scrolling through the homepage of her blog,  Atlantic-Pacific you can see she is a big fan of color.  And yes, I know she moved to Florida a year ago but she will always be a New Yorker in my mind!  But her location is not the reason for today’s post – I wanted to share with you a rainbow of  her best looks because she is the Queen of monochrome and even I can get monochrome outfit ideas from these gorgeous shots!
