Many people have bene asking Mark and I if we are board during lockdown and believe it or not, my to-do list is bigger than ever. Sure, some of that might have to do with wedding planning and needing to reschedule our Fall trip but even with that aside, we have been keeping very busy! Now that we are allowed to drive places on weekends we have been taking trips to spots like the Seven Sisters Cliffs or Hever Castle but even on a regular weekday, we often take walks around London in the evening.
One of my favorite places to walk, though it has been getting a bit busy lately a hard to social distance, is the path along the Regent’s Canal. It is only a few minutes walk from our building to the canal and then you can literally walk for miles. It extends nearly 14km across London from the West to the East and has hundreds of houseboats along it. Based on our walks and knowing all of the lush greenery I thought it would be a fun backdrop to shoot this dress, without trying to look to Christmasy! This dress is described on the website as pink but I think you would all agree with me, it is red. To further compliment the colors I decided to style it with black accessories with gold accents to help the red pop. Take a look:
Dress | John Lewis & Partners Linen Elliptical Hem Dress, Dark Pink
Bracelet | Kendra Scott Zorte Cuff Bracelet c/o Sunglasses | Quay It’s My Way Sunglasses
Belt | B Low the Belt Nadia Belt in Black Leather Shoes | Salvatore Ferragamo Varina Leather Ballet Flats
What do you think of this Red Linen Dress ?

Interesting how the back is several inches longer than the front. It took me a few photos into the post before I noticed it but I like the hem line. I would have thought that it would bother me but it doesn’t.
Good color too and like it pulled together with the belt.

I love this dress on you and the black belt. The London canals looks like a beautiful place for a good walk. This dress would be perfect for Sunday Brunch. I would just swap the shoes and pair this dress with a pair of heels. Some dresses just deserve to be paired up with heels, This is one of them
