Headbands are having a moment right now and I could not be happier. They were one of my favorite accessories growing up and then for at least 10 years I did not include them in my style. But now I have started purchasing skinny headbands one at a time and it is getting a bit addictive. I think they are a great accessory and very helpful to hold back baby hairs! Personally, I am not a fan of the super thick ones so I have rounded up my top picks for skinny ones that come in under $100.
1 | L. Erickson Braided Headband in Rose Gold $18
2 | Alexandre de Paris Thin Headband in Tokyo Tortoise $50
3 | BAUBLEBAR Cruz Chain Headband $48
4 | Mrs. President & Co. The Coveted Headband in Two Tone Gold $58
5 | Shashi Empress Headband in Gold $38
6 | Mrs. President & Co. The Urbanista Headband in 2 Tone Gold $68
7 | France Luxe Skinny Headband, Main in Tokyo Tort
8 | Collection XIIX Large Pearl and Crystal Dainty Metal Headband $12
But don’t just take my word for it – yxou have seen me wear three different ones in the past few months: the Shashi Empress Headband in Gold in the post Feeling Springy in a Pink Dress, the Alexandre de Paris Thin Headband in Tokyo Tortoise in the post Purple Puff Sleeve Lace Top and this J. Crew Pearl Cluster Headband (similar) in the post A Chic White Pajama Set. Take a look:
A thin headband offers so many styling variations but if you are a fan of the thick ones here are three under $50: Rainbow Unicorn Birthday Surprise Carmen Imitation Pearl Velvet Headband which is currently only $14 at Nordstrom or this Shashi Versailles Headband in Caramel which is on sale at Shopbop for $32 or this Olive Green Twist Headband from 8 Other Reasons for $48. And then if you are looking for skinny headbands for working out: I have had friends recommend these Metallic Headbands 3-Pack from Nike as well as these Ouchless Comfort Fit Headbands from Goody.
What do you think of skinny headbands?

Never noticed how many of your blog posts have you wearing a skinny headband.
I have those annoying whips of hair and this will be a great way to keep them at bay without wearing a big clunky headband of the past.

I’m not usually a fan of these but those ones you’ve chosen are pretty cute.
