I have been making an effort to get dressed like I would every day for work and in my normal life dresses make it so much easier to pack for the and then head into the office. I got this cobalt wrap dress last month from John Lewis knowing when I eventually go back to work and life returns to this cobalt wrap dress will be great for work.
When taking these photos at the canal near my house in London I actually had to edit out a few of my favorite shots because while I love twirling in a flowy skirt I forgot quite how much a wrap dress opens and while I am not afraid of showing a little leg, there is such a thing as too much. The website actually suggested this dress was fancy enough for a wedding and while I do like the cut and barely there spots I would usually go a bit more formal for a wedding, though it’s great for work and weekends! It has also been a while since I have worn this bag – in real life or on Sparkles and Shoes (the last time was 10 months ago in this Floral Print Jumpsuit in London post) and I really need to bring it out more – it brings such a fun pop of color!

Also, in looking back at these photos I think I should take more photos against this leafy green background as it really let’s you see the outfit without being a white wall. And it is funny, it looks quite overgrown and out of control in real life but in pictures, I think it comes out quite nice.
