Pink Glitter Pumps

To celebrate my 25th shoe post I am featuring the pair of shoes from my closet that best epitomize my blog – a sparkly pair of shoes. I bought these shoes last year on Black Friday and am truly in love with them:

Unfortunately, as pretty as these shoes are to look at, they are not comfortable.  Now I understand that high heels can not be the same a Rainbows or sneakers but these platform pumps are particularly difficult to walk in and the heel is so skinny it gets stuck in the sewer grates in New York City and I have toppled over more than once.  All of these facts together now make them a decorative item in my room and while they sit on the shelf I have been searching for a new pair.  I am hesitant not to pick a pair that make me look too much like Dorothy because I have no intention of ever visiting Kansas again so I stayed away from red.  Here are my favorite metallic and pastel options:

My fingers are crossed that my next pair of sparkly heels will actually be wearable and a staple in my wardrobe.  These options are significantly more expensive, I understand, but because I am approaching these as an investment piece for season after season and these brand name brands are known for sound structure which will keep me far from the pavement.

    I have #6 and I love them! I bought them for graduation since it was a winter graduation – I thought if I can’t wear a pretty sundress then I want some HOT heels! I thought that would be the only time I’d ever wear them but I’ve gotten tons of use out of them! Especially around Christmas time πŸ™‚
