It is true, recently I have been loving London. Maybe because we have not had a true rainy day in weeks, maybe because the restructions of COVID are slowly being lifted here in the UK, or maybe because I really like the balcony space of my new flat but whatever the reason, London and I are having a moment. And for the girl who is used to filling up passports that is a good thing because it is not as if I hvae many alternatives right now. (That said you better believe I am keeping a close eye on every countries announcements; Greece and Spain, I am looking at you). But today is not about that, it is about this Fleur Georgette Dress.
I have taken some of this time during quarantine to pair down my closet and what I have found is one of the top items that have been makign their way into the donation pile are dresses that are mid thigh or above. I am not in college anymore any while I am not afraid to flaunt it sometimes, there is a time and a place. And I know the photo above makes this Fleur Georgette Dress from French connection look a bit short but as you scroll down you can see it really is not! Even though it is hard to see in a few of the photos this dress has a ruffle trim and tie waist, adding a bit of dimmension plus I love a good fitted cuff. I love this dress on you. Perfect for date night or any formal party. The dress is flirty and just the right length. I love those wedge sandals too. My next travel day is Tuesday and I plan on wearing a dress and either heels or wedge sandals. Finally got warm enough in NYC so I am starting to wear my summer sundresses & other casual dresses while I am working at home and going out. Have to dress up somewhat just to keep normal for me.
