Happy First Day of May! I am actually really pleased with how the first batch of our quarantine photos turned out (when I was in these houndstooth trousers) and this second round that we shot 20 minutes later on Easter weekend are not half bad either. I recently got this and wanted to make sure I shared it here on Sparkles and Shoes while it is still in stock in every size! It has more than 500 reviews and with an average of 4.7 stars out of 5 I guess most people agree with me – it is a great top! It does not have stretch so it looks good tucked in but whit the tie neck and bishop sleeve, it definitely has enough going on!
As it is a statement printI decided to keep the bottoms neutral with one of my go-to skirts but then realized I needed a pop of color. Thus, I added a pink lip and a pair of blue shoes. These heels are one of my favorites but I think it has been nearly two years since they have been featured in a Fashion Friday outfit post (the last was for my Sparkles and Shoes Birthday Brunch two Summers ago) and I can not wait to start wearing them out this Spring / Summer! I love this top on you and the big bag is perfect for work which I have to travel to on Monday. That should be fun. I need to be out of the neighborhood. You paired the top perfectly with the pencil skirt and those blue ankle strap heels. Last time I wore blue heels I paired it with little white dress and I got complements everywhere.

Those shoes certainly do add that pop of color and when I was scrolling down the post they were a big surprise but in a good fun way. I am going to have to remember that next time I want to shake up an outfit a bit and go for the unexpected accessory.
