On Saturday night I got dressed up for date night and it reminded me just how much I love getting dolled up. Usually date night is something very casual or it is a day to night situation but in this case I had the chance to shower, change, do my hair, and putting on fresh makeup for the evening. Plus I had a good reason – we were going to see Book of Mormon on Broadway which was preceded by dinner at one of my favorite spots in New York City, Becco. I hope you like this date night look:
Honestly, this is is my perfect date night and the fact that I got to take my new Louboutin out for a spin was just extra icing on the cake! (I have been lusting after a pair for years and between the value of the British Pound right now – it has dropped massively with the mess than is Brexit – and that American’s can get the 20% VAT back, it seemed like the perfect time). Oh, and it only made sense to accessorize the red bottoms with my favorite little red bag and topped the look off with a swipe of the new Givenchy Lipstick, which is part of their new 2019 Couture Edition Set.

And then because photo shoots are not only fun when you do them by yourself a very kind stranger took a photo of both my brother and my boyfriend and I after dinner and I love how it came out. And while my Mom commented that both the guys look so tall I must admit, I had taken my heels off to walk to the theater at that point because I knew red bottoms and Times Square were not going to be friends, no matter how great of a date night look it made!

Lip color is a good red, not too orange as I have found many to be in photos.

One welcome home. Two hope your boyfriend enjoyed New York City. Three I love your little black date night dress. I Four those Christan Louboutin heels are totally awesome. They are the only point toe shoes I own. I only wear them for special occasions because I can only walk in them for short distances. I have 2 sky high sandals of his with the red bottoms.
