Happy, Happy Friday! Earlier this month when my parents were in town I took the day off on Friday and headed down to Hampton Court. Giving my love of castles and all things royalty I am actually a bit surprised it took more than a year of me living in London to make it there but better late than never! And I am never one to turn down an excuse for a good outfit post, especially one featuring this chic wild roses dresses.
We did not just head down to visit the gorgeous palace and the famed gardens but had actually purchased tickets months ahead of time to the famous annual Hampton Court Flower Show. Every July hundreds of vendors set up in the groups of the estate and display everything from garden ideas of the future to prized roses. I had actually expected it to be only be a display of flower (a literal interpretation of the name, I know) but it was so much more. And thus, it will get it’s own post in a few weeks.
But today, for Fashion Friday, I wanted to show you the look I wore to the show. And as I try and always be honest with you – I did not walk miles in these shoes or even wear them all day – I brought them for the theater in the evening but when we had the chance to shoot in the beautiful palace grounds I put them on and managed to traverse the pebbled ground without tacking a tumble:

You can see more of our visit including my Wimbledon coverage here and stay tuned for a few more posts from that amazing week! And as for this weekend, I am off to the country to hopefully escape this London heatwave so make sure to stay tuned on Instagram to see what I get up to!
What do you think of this wild roses dress?

I love your dress and those stylish strappy high heel sandals. I love your pink bag too. As for those heels I would be wearing them all day as long as I am not walking too much.

What a back drop for a photo shoot. You sure were slumming. Love those gates too. You just needed a horse and carriage and a really cute prince to whisk you off of your feet.
Seriously though, cute dress and love the purse.

It’s a fun and flirty dress. I think you look really happy in it so its a winner.
