Happy, happy Friday! Monday was a Bank Holiday here in the United Kingdom and as I mentioned on Insta earlier this week, why do short weeks already feel the longest? Plus a little wrench was thrown in and tomorrow morning I will be off on my next journey- this time a business trip to New York and yes, the irony has not been lost on me.
But before we talk about that and a week in NYC (which SO thankfully coincides with the start of NYFW which I would thought to have missed this year now that I live in Europe) let’s talk about London. Any time a friend comes to visit I take them to the Tower Bridge because it is one of my favourite spots in London and definitely one of the most iconic, especially as Big Ben and the House of Parliament are under construction. So take a look at this pretty look at this gorgeous national monument.

And as I know someone will comment on it as it was already mentioned yesterday on Instagram – these photos are at the iconic Tower Bride, not London bridge! But back to the look – this dress’ strappy V-neck makes me really happy – though it is not work appropriate – and the vertical ruffle with the slit in front make it quite playful. Perfect for a hot Summer day!

Perfect casual dress to combat the summer heat. Good for Sunday Brunch. I love the backdrop of the tower bridge. For me its back to work Tuesday after a 4 day weekend.
