I finally have a new place to live! Yay!!! That was one of the biggest things that was up in the air when I moved to England and I am so exited within a week I found a great apartment and was able to secure it! One thing that I found very surprising about apartments here is that the majority come furnished which was great – I did not have to move anything across the Ocean!
It is also even more ideal that the stars aligned and I got my perfect flat – a beautiful period town home on a quaint street but one that was completely renovated top to bottom and I will be the first tenant! As such it is start white with minimalist grey furniture and now it is time to decorate. Given the existing color palette I am thinking of doing a light and airy feel and here are some of my inspiration photos for my new bedroom:

I love them all and especially the mirrors that they used as accents. Such a nice touch without taking away from the overall look. So peaceful looking, like my own sanctuary!!

These look like they are in a very high end hotel in New York City. Such understated elegance. Interesting that they choose black and white photos as to not take your eye away from any one spot.
Once I have kiddos though I don’t think that this look will work for me as I want my little ones to snuggle with me in bed!

I really like the pom pom pillow on the second to last bed. I love pom poms and those are not too over the top to have on your bed. Great selections!

These are really beautiful and I feel like I would be falling into a big ball of cotton and fall right asleep. I also like how they use the accent mirrors to make the place feel even bigger!
