And just like that I am back in New York City? You didn’t know I was gone? Well ,you didn’t miss out on two much since I was only in Seattle for 24-hours but I made the most of it spending my birthday there on Wednesday and then a very full day yesterday of meetings before flying back. Now the week is nearly over but there is still so much in store – from work today, a birthday happy hour this evening, and then off to be a bridesmaid in my friend Samantha’s wedding this weekend. So what does that have to do with this photo above? Well let’s get into that.
This faux leather miniskirt might be the best thing I picked up at this Summer’s Nordstrom Semi-Annual sale. It is from J.Crew and it is so chic! In real life I have many people say they thought it was black but in direct lighting or in these photos you can definitely tell it is navy. I have already worn it twice to work, despite it being a statement piece, but I definitely did not wear it with this backless lace bodysuit – that would be a bit too much! Instead I wore this navy leather miniskirt with a black tank and it was quite cute if I do say so myself!
