Hungary (2015)
It is true, after ten very trusty and useful years my passport is set to expire in July. Thankfully I realized this months ago and was able to renew it in plenty of time as I am heading out of the country next week and I never want to be one of those horror stories you hear of people getting turned away at the airport! I was almost irrationally sad to loose this passport (but thankfully they mail it back) because of all of the fond memories and stamps that I have collected and represents so many amazing adventures. I took a look through and over the past 10 years this passport has certainly run the gamut – from an African safari to serving as a form of ID for dive bars while in college in Washington, D.C.
It took a bit of time to count them all up, especially as some places don’t stamp, but this passport has been to 22 countries between 2007 and 2017 before it met it’s demise. Thanks Mr. Passport for traveling with me to Austria, Botswana, Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, Curaçao, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. As I say goodbye to this little blue book and get ready for my first stamp in my new one here are a few of my favorite adventures:

So many great travels and I almost thought about digging up a picture per country but I think you get the gist plus there is a whole travel section of the blog devoted to them! So what’s next? A renewed passport and plans to fill it up – I already have tickets booked to head to Ecuador next week for the first time and then to Scandinavia in July where I will be adding at least three more countries to the list! Onwards and upwards we go!

Not going to lie – insanely jealous that you’ve been to 22 different countries – I just started planning a Europe trip for late 2018 with one of my girlfriends so I’m hoping to add at least 4-5 more to my list.

Sometimes it’s fun to look at the past travel pictures. Brought back loads of happy memories. I’ve been to Ecuador. Guess I’ll stalk your blog to see the pictures.
You’ll love the Scandinavia! They’re clean, very friendly people and everything looked so fresh and green. I was there in Spring so the weather was great too. Enjoy your holidays!
