Despite having grown up in the New York City suburbs I have only actually lived in New York City for the past four years and what an incredible ride it has been. Just last week I received confirmation of the lease renewal of my beloved Upper East Side studio where I am very excited to report, I will be living for a third year. I started out my NYC adventure living in the East Village before moving to Greenpoint, Brooklyn and then two years ago back to Manhattan and the UES.
Why did I decide to share this with you today? Well, we are having a contest at the office where we are redoing all of the framed artwork with pictures that employees have taken. My coworkers and I were asked to submit photos we have taken your top five that fit into one of the three categories; inside / underground, skyline, and bridges / sunsets. I have scoured the blog and my hardrive for a collection of my favorites New York City photos that I have taken and now I need your help, which shots should make it into the top five?
Which of these New York City photos would get your vote?

As a New Yorker I love all the pictures. However the three that stand out to me are
1) The Bridge
2) The Guggenheim
3) One World Trade

Okay so I have a soft spot for that Guggenheim photo because we had such a fun day there, but I think #1 is a winner! It’s stunning 🙂

All photos are great, Especially if you took them all yourself but my favorites are the Sunset showing the Empire State Building, One WTC and Central Park. Highline is good too. I do say great camera work for all.
