I Don’t Wear Graphic Tees But If I Did …

03/23/16 | Etsy, Fashion and Style, Gap, Nordstrom

Ha Ha No Graphic TShirt

Ha Ha No Graphic TShirt

For some reason, and I think it is just a weird quirk, I do not wear graphic tees.  Sure, I have tons of tanks and tshirts with words on them but most proudly proclaim “Georgetown” in some way shape or form and I have a few high school and job ones thrown in the mix. What I do not have, however, are tshirts with fun catch phrases or slogans on them.  There is one exception, two years ago I purchased a shirt with “Blogger, Shot Caller” on it designed by Whitney of I Wore Yoga Pants thinking it would break the spell, but no cigar.

Their are dozens of Pinterest boards devoted to the best way to style these types of graphic tees and in my workout classes there is usually at least one girl wearing a top with a catchy slogan but they really are just not for me.  Even though I do not wear them, if I had to these would be the cute options that might tip the scale in their favor:

While I often say I do not have a defined style there are definitely things I shy away from including 8 Trends You Will Never See Me Wearing and graphic tees like these are one of them.  In case I left you really wanting more though the options that did not make the top 12?  You can find them here, here, here, here, and here!

What do you think of graphic tees?
Do you wear them?

I am guilty of more than a few graphic tee purchases, and I don’t even wear them all too often. They include “creme de la creme” “cest la vie” and the J.Crew “cheers” and “kiss” in different languages. I think I probably shouldn’t buy any more!

Graphic tees are always so fun! Usually I just wear mine around the house, but at least I look cute, right?

I’m not a big graphic t-shirt person either, but I do have that Gilmore Girls tee. I couldn’t resist!

I wear them sometimes, but only if they are really funny. In high school, I wore them A LOT. I had one that said “what the duck?” instead of the F-word. I thought I was really cool… obviously.

There are definitely some cute graphic tees out there with super fun sayings but, for whatever reason, like you, I’ve just never gotten into wearing them!

I’m the exact same way – not sure why, but I just do not wear or own any graphic tees (beyond the t-shirts I’ve saved from high school and college!) There are tons like the ones you picked that I think are cute, and I like them on other people, but I’m just never tempted to bring them into my own style!
Glad I’m not the only one!

Sooo not a fan of graphic tees. Actually, I never have been. Some of these are cute and but they’re just not my style. Although, I’d probably wear the ponytail one to the gym. Obnoxious shirts and gym time go hand in hand!
