For the first time ever, I am not going to be with my family on Thanksgiving. This realization, one week out from Turkey Day, is very odd. My parents will be in Florida and with my work schedule and the cost of getting down there for four days I am going to stay local. Luckily I have amazing friends and one invited me home with her for the holiday so I will spend Thursday eating surrounded by amazing people.
When I go home to my parents my mom jokes that I am a good enough present and I do not have bring anything. However, since I am a plus one to I am now in search of the perfect gift to bring with me. It is going to take a subway to a train and then a drive to get to the Thanksgiving festivities so I am planning to send a gift on ahead of me. Whether you are going home or visiting others hostess gifts are always much appreciated. here are nine ideas ranging from $28 to $110!
MarieBelle Chocolates Blue Box Collection 9-Piece Box $28
Stew Leonard’s Sweet Treats Gift Basket $30
Indigo Photo Frame design by Two’s Company $32
Moscow Mule Mugs, Set of 4 $60
Antica Farmacista Diffuser Fragrance in Prosecco $66
Tequila Happiness $85
(Himalayan Salt Tequila Glasses and Patrón Reposado Tequila)
Wine Country Gift Basket Robert Mondavi Cellar Selection $100
Asian Inspired Tea Kettle $109

Proper etiquette does dictate that you bring the hostess a gift but it seems like in our modern world that people skip over this particular tradition. Now most hostess are gracious and will brush it off but I think it is kind of rude not to bring something to show your gratitude. Love all of the options you chose and think they would make great gifts.

Spending Thanksgiving with Family is best option. Spending with close friends & watching football is OK too. As long as you don’t spend Thanksgiving inside a mall doing pre-black friday buying then OK.

love these options! i received the tequila one for a bday present once and it gets used often. i’m not a salt-on-the-rim type of girl, but i like the salt on the glasses. great for sipping tequila too.
