(Audio-Technica Bluetooth Turntable)
One odd thing I have learned since moving to England is that sometimes holiday’s celebrated in both countries do not happen on the same day, like Mother’s Day, they are celebrated more than a month apart. Or daylight savings – the U.S. changes the clocks a few weeks before the U.K. does meaning sometimes it is a 4 hour time difference and sometimes 6, as opposed to the usual 5. However, one holiday that does line up is Father’s Day.
Next Sunday, June 16th, is Father’s Day in both countries and thus, I have put together a gift guide with suggestions of what to get for your Dad! In past Father’s Day gift guides, like this one, I have featured everything from alcohol and fast cars to umbrellas and camping chairs – it really runs the gambit! I know every Dad is different – some love watching football, some are obsessed with fishing, some would love to celebrate spending all day (and night) outdoors, and other’s would rather not leave the couch. Which ever kind of Dad yours is, hopefully one of the seven gifts below would work for him!
1 | Fitbit Inspire Activity Tracker
2 | Audio-Technica Bluetooth Turntable 3 | KitchenAid Propane Grill
4 | Nest Digital Thermostat 5 | Layla Sleep Weighted Blanket
6 | Derek Rose Silk Pajamas 7 | Global Knife Set from Sur La Table
Of the list below the one I would most likely pick for my Dad is the weighted blanket. He probably has never heard of a weighted blanket (which means it is not something he already has) and I would be it would improve his quality of sleep! Though don’t worry, that is not what I got him, his gift is not on the list above because he reads the blog! I will not be spending this Father’s day with my Dad as he will be in the States and I will be in Europe but we will have a belated celebration in Early July when he is visiting me!
Would you get your Dad anything from the Father’s Day Gift Guide 2019?

My dad loves to cook. That knife set books like the great gift for him. I always struggle with gifts for him because he has almost everything he needs.
When watching him cook I’ve learned you can never have enough knives.

you saved me. I had no idea what to get my dad and those noise cancelling headphones are going to do it. He travels all the time and whether he’s going to listen to his book tape or music on the plane or just cancel out the crying baby behind him he will love these. Great call.
