My Favorite Summer Nail Polish Colors

Mother nature must not have gotten the clue that summer is still a few weeks a way.  This weekend it was over 80°F both Saturday and Sunday – to me, that is summer. With the warm weather comes one of my favorite things, bright and summery nail polish colors. Over the last few years I have tried dozens of shades of polish, mainly from Essie, but by the end of last summer I had my three favorites solidified.

These three are my trusted and true go-tos. I am lucky that I am allowed to wear blue and green nail polish to work along with the basic or “normal” pink and red shades.  Here are a few shots of my favorite colors along with the way Essie describes each of the colors.  The formal description for the Bikini So Teeny shade of blue is a sparkling, cornflower blue and compliments a great deal of my wardrobe and jewelry. 

Probably the most versatile of the three is Essie Fiji, described as  an opaque creamy pale pink that matches everything. A true must-have in any collection. 

This is definitely the most Spring shade,  Essie describes Mint Candy Apple as a creme de menthe mint, great for a regular manicure or for a statement nail color.
