In 2013 it was asparagus, last year it was Brussels sprouts, and 2015, cauliflower is my vegetable of the year. I try not to be negative on the blog, I really do, but sometimes it is dang near impossible. You see, my apartment has not had gas since March 6th. It is true that my heat is electric (and thus increbily expensive) but not having gas just means that my burners and stove do not work. For someone who likes to cook and loves to bake this has been pretty terrible. Things just do not taste the same in the microwave and I really miss being able to bake brownies or toast up some kale chips.
One thing I can not wait to get back on the bandwagon with is roasted cauliflower. For about a month before I lost gas I perfected my take on the recipe with a full head of cauliflower, a drizzle of oil, a squeeze of lemon juice, fresh ground pepper, and sea salt. It was very simple but so good it was hard to wait for it to cool down before I dug in. I am determined to share that recipe with you all when I can finally make it again so in the meantime these are other cauliflower recipes I have come across that seemed quite interesting:

Would you try any of these cauliflower recipes?

Betsy says
I would definitely try a number of those but no matter how hard anyone tries even Gordon Ramsey I don’t think anything would be as good as really pizza haha.
