When people speak, I listen. In blog world I listen and my reply is usually an individual response to a comment or a personal email but in the past I have had reader requests that I’ve turned into full blog posts. But never before have I watched and then created a post. There’s a first time for everything.
Over the last week the search term that is brought the most people to Sparkles and Shoes was “yellow dresses”. I personally do not own any yellow dresses, with my very Irish pink undertones yellow is just not a good color on me, but I admire it on others. I have written a post before about yellow dresses that keeps coming up in search results, but as it was from May 2013, all of the great options, six of my sunny favorites under $150 are now all sold out or the page no longer exists. But instead of six yellow dresses under $150 here are six of my favorite Spring and Summer yellow dresses under $100 – now you have no excuse to get with the trend:

I would definitely wear a yellow dress. Although I couldn’t bring it out as well because I kind of blend into the color but a darker yellow does suit me OK. I’ve yellow undertone so if I wear a lighter yellow, it will look like the outfit wears me more than I can carry the outfit. I love a yellow outfit. It makes me very happy when I have them on =)

Wow, I would never have guessed that yellow dresses were that popular! Funny sometimes what you discover, huh? I love Kate Middleton’s (obviously). Such a classic shape. I have to be pretty careful wearing yellow because it can wash me out pretty badly. But the right shade is lovely! Have a great weekend!
