I have been a big fan of green juice for the past two years but only recently have I started getting into green smoothies. There is only so much pinning you can do before you need to plug in the blender and just get mixing. It is only fair that the first green juice I chose was one recommended by one of my favorite most hilarious bloggers, Taylor of The Daily Tay. Since then I have tried half a dozen others and have realized I am really not a fan of soy milk, massive amounts of protein powder, or any smoothies with herbs.
Taylor called this her kale-blueberry detox smoothie but I am not detoxing so I am just going to call this my new favorite not so green smoothie. I feel almost silly making a recipe card for this one but it is delicious!

It must be said, with the blueberries it does come out a deep purple and not so green at all but I promise, there really are a TON of greens in it for a healthy combination and a delicious drink!
And in case you are more of a juice person take a look at my post from last year on my favorite green juice.
Have you tried any green or not so green smoothies?

The 30 Rock cafeteria makes an INCREDIBLE green smoothie (and for super cheap too – like 3$??) – it’s spinach, a green apple, a red apple, an avocado, some yogurt, and honey. I was skeptical at first, but ended up getting one every day before work ha!
