Over Memorial Day weekend I stocked up on so many necessities for my new apartment – between the Christmas Tree Store, T.J. Maxx, Bed Bath and Beyond, and BJ’s I was able to pick up almost everything I needed. (Yes, I did cheat on Costco with BJ’s, whoops!) The whole theme is going to be blue, tea, and white and I’m so excited – eek!
The move-in is this weekend and every night has involved slowly packing while taking breaks for blogging and the new season of Toddler’s and Tiaras – when I got the email that Season 7 was on Netflix I immediately stopped Season 2 of Orange is the New Black and switched over to four year old beauty queens and their crazy mothers, but I digress.
The one thing I was not over the moon about, though, from the shopping trip was the cutting board. I purchased a plain white anti-bacterial one that protects against germs I can not pronounce and while it is very practical and a true necessity I would love to get a cute one. For this new kitchen accessory my only criteria is not white:
Indigo Chevron by Rume /
Cutting Board Star by Ferm Living in Rose White and Mint
Monogrammed ZigZig Glass / Lemon Cutting Board
Joseph Joseph Chop2Pot Folding Cutting Boards / J.K. Adams Pig Cutting Board
Kat Melamine French Bull Serveware /Boatman Geller Seersucker Red & Navy Glass
I thought it would be hard to find a colorful or statement cutting board but they are so many cute options out there! Honestly, because one can never have enough cutting boards, I am leaning towards getting one of the monogrammed glass ones and one of the cool folding cutting boards as well. Thoughts?

I love fun cutting boards! I ordered one cut in the shape of a state for a gift on Etsy last year, and it was a hit. Thanks for stopping by.

these are so cute! I am always scared of wood though. I guess I use my cute cow shaped wooden one for produce but never meat!

The colors you have chosen sound amazing. I love the monogrammed cutting boards the most I believe.

At the risk of being “that girl”, you need to get another one. One glass, for meats and fish, and the plastic one or a bamboo one for veggies and stuff. And on a fun note, I LOVE the pig one. I wanted one of the NJ shaped ones that BB&B was selling last year but when I finally saw it in store, it was pretty cheaply made.
