My TiVo Order

Now that the holidays are in full swing that mean lots of great things. Lots of family, lots of friends, and hopefully some presents.  My brother flew in yesterday, my grandparents arrived last night, and I am so excited that I will be able to just sit back and relax and laugh until it hearts.

The only mini negative about this time of year is no new shows.  The winter-finale episodes of some of my favorites were such cliff hangers that I am left dreading the weeks I have to wait until I find out what happens.  That does leave me to plenty of time though to catch up on my TiVo/Hulu. It is a little daunting when you see half a dozen or more unwatched shows but I have an order I watch them in.  To be fair, I ALWAYS watch Scandal live so while it is recorded on my TiVo, I’ve already seen it.  It still gets to be first though:

So as I mentioned, Scandal is always first, followed by Nashville where I have a massive crush on Charles Wentworth played by Charlie Bewley. Hart of Dixie comes in third because I am still in love with Summer from the O.C. and then Grey’s.  Grey’s is one of those shows I have been watching since the beginning and I think I am still doing so out of habit.  Again, another show I have been watching for seasons and seasons, Millionaire Matchmaker, what can I say? Patti Stanger is awesome!

Then, a new one, The Blacklist.  It is scary, dangerous, and unpredictable – James Spader is absolutely perfection in this role and if he did not win an Emmy I would be flabbergasted – and I am so glad my coworker recommended it.  The Biggest Loser is one of those shows that I like to watch at the gym – such great motivation, but this year for the first time it is one hour instead of two and it just seems rushed which is why it has dropped so much on list.

White Collar, what can I say, Neal Caffrey. Swoon. I almost want to date someone like here in New York City, but then I think again.  Followed by Bones, kind of like Grey’s, another show I watch out of habit.  Last, Shark Tank. Definitely a show I watch while working on blog posts – I like to see the products the entrepreneurs have come up with but it definitely does not need to take an hour.

When my Tivo is empty really anything on TLC, Bravo, or The Food Network will do!  I do have a sweet spot for What Not to Wear, Vanderpump Rules, Restaurant Impossible and Chopped.

    I just could not get into Hart of Dixie! I watched it on Netflix for a while but eventually just gave up. I love Rachel Bilson, but just couldn’t do it, haha!

    We just started watching Hart of Dixie and I LOVE IT! We’re also now obsessed with Flashpoint. I didn’t think I’d get into it at first, but it’s actually a really good show, if you’re looking for something new πŸ™‚
