My Dream Shoes: Riding Boots

 This past week the weather has been absolutely ridiculous.  On Tuesday morning I pulled out my snow boots as it was below freezing and snow was coming down in sheets.  Then, just yesterday it was in the mid-sixties and I quite possibly could have gotten away with flip flops! Jeez! This weather is so confusing.  Somewhere in between hear and there is riding boot season.
 
The one thing about riding boots is that they tend to be more expensive than most shoes, but if you buy the right pair and take (decent) care of them they should last a while.  If I had no budget I would buy a pair in just about every shade from light tan all the way across the spectrum to black. These are my six favorites:

    Last year I wanted riding boots for Christmas, but most of the pairs I tried on made me feel like a little girl walking around in my mom’s shoes! i think my legs are a little short for the average height, so I ended up going with a mid-calf not-quite riding boot instead! I still love all of these styles though!

    Those Burberry ones and the Rachel Zoe ones are my favorites in this post! I cannot even express how much I love boots! The weather here in PA was the same. We had snow on Tuesday, and Friday and Saturday it was near or in the 60s. Insane.

    I’m having the hardest time finding black riding boots that aren’t huge on my thin legs and it’s SO frustrating! Those Elizabeth & James ones look pretty thin, maybe I will save my paycheck for them!
