The Dear Kate party was great and the product is so cute and so well made. I look forward to working with them in the future! The second party of the evening was hosted by Morgan to celebrate the launch of her hair bow company, Huntington B. I will not go into too much detail about Huntington B as I wrote about them at length last week, but seeing all of the bows in person was great. The signature drink, the Huntington Buzz, consisting of Vodka, lemonade, cranberry juice, and a lemon slice, was delicious and the hundred guests provided a truly diverse mix of the young professionals in NYC.
Thursday night I had the privilege of attending not one, but two launch parties for amazing, innovative brands started by young women. The first was for the lingerie company, Dear Kate, which recently moved it’s headquarters to New York City. The guests at this small, women’s only event were fascinating- from an FIT student writing a piece about the company to half a dozen 20-something entrepreneurs balancing successful careers and their own business’s. I had met the founder, Julie, over brunch at Friend of a Farmer a few months ago and was extremely impressed with her idea and perseverance in getting this company off the ground. Her description of the cute underwear and even the diagrams on the website did not do them justice – so cute! The lemonade was delicious, the ice cream sandwiches DIVINE, and I truly enjoyed my time chatting over cute their delicate drawers:
Both parties were amazing!
The Huntington B giveaway is still open and in these photos I am wearing “The Audrey” bow.
