Tuesday Trend: Touch Screen Gloves

Let me start off this Tuesday Trend post with some very  good news – on Saturday morning the ground hog in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania did not see his shadow meaning an early spring! This is amazing news because after the last few weeks I am REALLY ready for warm weather!

This news of spring approaching is amazing but with the temperatures hovering around freezing and snow expected tomorrow in New York City it is no where near time to pack up the parka. One of my key survival pieces this winter have been a pair of touch screen gloves – they  have been my saving grace on my freezing walks to work.   With my gloves on I can change the volume or pause my Audible book at any time, multi-task by thumbing a quick text, or pausing it (currently The Fall of Giants by Ken Follett) to take a call all without subjecting my hands to the freezing air and whipping wind.

Inspired by those Instagram challenges that require you to take a photo every day of different things I have made my own challenge – to wear a different bracelet from my collection every day of February, snap a photo of it, and post it.  So far I have done well, day one, two, three, and four and I am going to try really hard to stick with it – this is a diverge from this post but let me get back to the point – on the first day I posted a photo of my bracelet with my adorable teal touch screen gloves. The gloves that I am wearing in the photo above are unfortunately sold out in stores but here are my favorite pretty and sporty options:


Do you wear touch screen gloves? 
If you do not you really should check out these options – they are a life changer and generally pretty reasonable.  If somehow it is already warming up where you are I would keep an eye out for your favorite pair and see if you can get them as the weather turns warmer and the gloves go on sale!

    Wow I didn’t expect to scroll down and find such a comment – obviously some jealous trollage going on there though why they choose to tell the whole word about themselves I don’tknow… *hugs*

    Anyway moving on – my OH brought me a pair of just plain black ones before Christmas and they are amazing love being able to keep my finger tips warm and still use my phone <3

    You have some cute gloves above. My favorites are the girly ones. The pair on the far right to be more exact. Today we made it to the 50s and it looks like that’s where our temps will be the rest of the week.

    I definitely need some touch screen gloves. The ones I’ve found so far for us fellas have, frankly, sucked. I’ve tried the Old Navy ones, and the Isotoner ones. The Old Navy ones were too thin, and didn’t help, and the Isotoner ones have not worked reliably for me. I’m definitely open to suggestions.
