Knee High Leather Boots

Happy Friday!  The last two Friday’s I have not posted about a pair of shoes in my closet because I did my 12 Days of Christmas but I am so excited to be back to shoes!

I have a deep infatuation with my new knee high black leather boots!  After posting about Over the Knee boots a few weeks ago (here) I was convinced those were going to be my next purchase, but much to my surprise I fell in love with these knee high boots.  As I have mentioned before, shopping Soho is one of my favorite things to do.   As my walk in closet is just about full (a post on that coming in the New Year) I have attempted to be much more selective in what I purchase – for every ten or so items I try on I probably only purchase one.   I have also made an effort to go on less shopping excursions because I am an easy sell on a cute item if it is on sale, however, this is difficult when friends visit and want to go shopping in New York City.  On one of these such trips I was in Soho and my friend was looking for a sheer blouse, one thing that is really NOT my style so I wandered into the shoe section. 

I had been looking for Over the Knee boots and while in Florida over Thanksgiving I had tried on many pairs at DSW and on Black Friday with no luck.  When I saw these boots I had just had to try them on and was so excited when they fit perfect.  I began walking around the store in them and while I was deciding whether or not to get them the sales person told me they were the last pair of 9’s in stock and another shopper had just asked for them so if I was not getting them she would be.  Okay… SOLD.   I have now owned these boots for a few weeks and I could not be happier.  They hit just below my knee cap and are so versatile I just had to get them.  I love the details, especially the buckle and the inner zipper, shown below, and how they go with everything! I am already certain these will be boots that I will have for years and that will not go out of style! 
I have already worn these boots to work and out in the evening and they are so comfortable that standing all night is no problem in these amazing boots!  Here are two ways that I would style these gorgeous boots:

    So cute! I finally FINALLY bought a pair of brown ones a few days ago. I’d been searching forever for the perfect pair and found ’em at Target (of course). Love how you styled them 🙂
