Really Love My … Black Ruffle Top

I am going to be slowing down over the next week due to the holidays so I can spend time with friends and family.  I still may comment here and there because I don’t think I can take a big break with reading, but just bare with me and Happy Holidays!

Last week, for the first time, I featured one of my favorite items, my silver chandelier feather earrings (here). I wrote about and posted photos of the ways I wear them:

If there is one staple in my wardrobe that I love more than any other item it is this black ruffle top.  It has a figure flattering V-neck, a ruffle cap sleeve, a key hole back, and a tie empire waist. 

Going through my photos it is astonishing how many times over the past six years I have worn this shirt.  These are some of my favorite memories, the majority of which were usually before going out for the evening:

Ps. If you can not tell, I am a REALLY big fan of the skinny arm pose!

    Such a cute top! For me, it has been this strapless floral dress for spring/summer and in the winter I usually wear a new sweater often throughout the season 🙂

    I have a go-to yellow cardigan from Old Navy that I would wear every day if I could. I should have bought more than one! (Also, one time I went to a toga party–the skinny arm pose saved my life!)

    I didn’t know that it was called the skinny arm pose! I always thought it made girls have a more hourglass figure. Anyway, that top is really flattering on you, and it’s always great when you find that piece of go-to clothing 🙂 I’ve yet to find mine though!

    You are so cute! And, yes! I have a top that actually looks a lot like that but teal and I wear it all.the.time! It’s just so flattering, can be dressed up or down, goes with my complexion. I wish I had it in a few different colors.

    I am a huge fan of the skinny arm pose too dont worry! those earring are super cute! Hmm i would say my heels and super gorgeous black shirt are my to go to peices

    My staple for tops is a fresh white deep v neck t shirt. I will literally go and get a fresh pack of Hanes tshirts once a month! They make me look skinny lol. And don’t worry, I always pose with my hand on my hips too. If it works, don’t fix it 🙂
