Yesterday I went with my roommate to Costco and it reaffirmed my love for the store – I love sales and every time I go into this amazing super store it seems as if everything, as in EVERY SINGLE ITEM, is on sale. Therefore, it is the best store ever and other people must agree with me because it is the seventh largest retailer in the world  My love comes from the top down, my high school boyfriend referred to my dad as a “Kirkland Dad”, affectionately named after the generic brand name of Costco’s products, ha!

I have been to Costco’s all over the Northeast, whether at home in New York, at school in Washington DC, or on vacation in New Hampshire and they are all fantastic. I was so excited for my first visit to the only location in Manhattan.  My roommate and I had a great time sampling all of different cuisines, snacks, and drinks around the store while stocking up on all of our favorites.  By the time I got to checkout I had an over flowing cart of a discount like Garnier Frutis Sleek & Shine shampoo and conditioner, Neutrogena makeup wipes, and fresh berries along with unique items like prepackaged individual servings of marinated Alaskan salmon. My favorite purchase from yesterday was a gorgeous “LED Lighted” Round Vanity mirror, perfect for my room to put up my makeup.

    I have a love hate relationship with costco! I love the deals, I hate that I can’t go in there and spend less than $100. And if I do spend around $100 my cart looks pathetic because there is like 8 things in it.
