Scalloped Trim Dress at the Hofburg Palace

02/21/20 | AllSaints, Austria, Fall Style, Fashion Friday, Fitbit, Kate Spade, Kiss Products, Lancôme, Marc Jacobs, Palaces, Shopbop, Sponsored, Vienna

There is something extra special about shooting in a famous location – you know the backdrop is going to be stunning and it will certainly be a change from a shrub or a garage door.  However, the issue with shooting somewhere like the Hofburg Palace in Vienna – where these photos were taken – is that there are people EVERYWHERE. One  of the best tricks to make sure people are not in your shot is to shoot first thing in the morning but since our schedule in Vienna did not allow for that, we ended up being very strategic and I am actually quite pleased with how they came out.

Oh, and I can not believe this is the first time I am formally showing you this green .  It made the list of my favorite purchased of 2019 but I realized has never actually been featured in a Fashion Friday post, so a long over due welcome to this chic midi dress.  I am also wearing one of my favorite beauty additions of the past few months, which is perfect when you need a pop of color and while it goes on like a gloss is certainly not too sticky!  Take a look:

These photos, while featuring a stunning background, do not show much of the gorgeous Hofburg Palace so if you are looking for a bit more of this gorgeous royal residence you can take a look back at my 2015 post on Visiting Palaces in Vienna for a closer look at this gorgeous building!

Such a pretty dress. Those scallop edges are really eye catching and it must look really great when you are walking.

Would be terrific with a pair of heels for date night with a little dancing involved.

Nice backdrop too, they sure don’t make structures like that in the States.

Love the dress and I never thought about the People issue. Well you did a really good job because I would swear there were no people around. Cute dress too. Very different look for you. I like it.
