I’ve been looking through my camera roll lately and realized that while International Women’s Day has officially passed, I’m definitely not done celebrating. Honestly, I think I’m going to keep it going all month. When I look at the women in my life, a single day just doesn’t feel like enough time to cover it all. I shared a dozen of my foavirte photos on Instagram as part of my International Women’s Day celebration but these ladies are worth a few more words:
It is so wild to scroll back through the last ten years of photos. There are so many different versions of us captured in there. We’ve gone from high-glam wedding mornings with champagne toasts to much more casual afternoons navigating strollers through museums and catching up over coffee while the kids play. Even though the photos only go back a decade, so many of these faces have actually been by my side since we were children. There is something so special about being known by women who remember you before life got so busy. They’ve seen me through my time in London, the move back to New York, and now this beautiful, chaotic chapter of motherhood.
The most magical part for me is seeing the generations all together. Seeing my mom and my grandmas holding my daughter is a reminder of the long line of strong, funny, and resilient women I come from. They are the ones who built the foundation for everything, and I love that my daughter gets to grow up surrounded by that kind of energy.
Then there is my village—the friends who have basically become sisters. We’ve traded in some of the late nights for playdates and chicken fingers, but the support hasn’t changed. Whether we are dressed up for a big event or just hanging out in the living room, these women make life so much brighter. I’m just feeling extra thankful today for the women who raised me, the friends who have stayed by my side since the beginning, and the little girl who keeps me looking forward to the future. You all make life beautiful.

And there you have it, my International Women’s Day celebration!
