Two Very Different Maternity Photoshoots

Hello third Trimester! Yesterday I shared on Instagram a photo from October 2024 and a photo from February 2023 – two photos in my third trimester – the first with Baby Bear and the second with Lily Harper. The first is what I would consider a full blown photoshoot – I traveled to the home of a professional photographer in West London. It was an 1h 30 min shoot where photos were captured of me in three different outfits.  Pregnancy outfits can be quite tricky to find so it was great that she had a large collection of dresses, bodies, and fabrics available in the studio.  She made me feel so comfortable and there are so many photos I love from the shoot – you can check out her work here.

The second, as you will see below, is quite different.  While we were on holiday in St. Lucia we had family photos taken.  I contacted a local photographer via Instagram and he came to the resort we were staying at to snap Lily, Mark, and I.  In the coming weeks I wills share my favorite photo which we will use for our Christmas Card but I did have a secondary goal. I wanted some nice photos taken of me and my bump with Baby Bear.

This pregnancy I have far less bump shots than I have with. Lily and even though I feel really large I know looking back I will want to document this time.  Instead of glamorous in-studio gowns I opted for this Swiss Dot V-Neck Ruffle Sleeve Maternity Dress from Amazon and paired it with my favorite Stuart Weitzman wedges.  Then for Lily I had her wear this Gymbore Linen Summer Dress and styled it with two her most worn items – her pink Wee Ones’ Classic Grosgrain Hair Bow  and these Closed-Toe Anti-Slip Rubber Sole Toddler Sandals.  It was great to have a few tropical shots taken and it was a bonus to have Lily in a few – take a look:
