Welcome to the start of a new week! In addition to clearing out my wardrobe I’ve been taking a look through drawers and have found no less than a dozen memory cards – what on earth?!! There are some amazing photos from trips like my Bali scuba diving adventures (swoon) and I’ve started to back them all up on my external bar drive.
This led me to the folder of all of the photos from our UK wedding celebration which was two years ago today! I have shared a few snaps on Instagram but I figured today would be a good day to post these then as I’ve never shared them on the block. When I’ve had to do trivia at work or other fun facts about myself one thing I often share is that I’ve been married three times. If you check out this blog post, I’ve mentioned it before but in 2020 Mark and I got married at the courthouse in London, in 2021. We had our wedding in Florida and in 2022. We had a celebration of our wedding in Derbyshire.
As no were in America in October 2021 no one from England was able to attend our wedding. Thus it was great. We were able to host a party a few months later only a few minutes from where Mark grew up and nearly 100 guests were able to join the festivities, a few friends were surprised I didn’t get a new dress, but since I loved mine so much and certainly it was a joy to wear it again. Part of the reason I never shared these photos is because I weighed almost 10 pounds more than the first time I wore it and was ending my first trimester pregnant with the twins it makes it extremely sad to look back, but it was also a wonderful evening full of happiness, and the pictures are too fun not to share. Here are some of my favorites:
Afer the sand cermeony we did family portaits as well as bride and groom shots:
Our table setup was done by the venue and Mark chose the burgundy color scheme:

So nice you could have a second wedding for all of the family and friends who couldn’t attend from the UK. What a nice Plan B and you probably got to enjoy it so much as there was no pressure.
You and your husband look like you could be in the movies. He looks like James Bond to me and you look like a princess which I guess is heading for the castle that you got married in. Beautiful photos.

I never get tired of seeing you and that stunning wedding dress. You really should be on the cover of a brides magazine. Glad you got to wear it more than once. You are stunning.
