Congrats to the happy couple!! The title of this post may throw a few people off because the wedding we attended over the weekend was not my Uncle Kevin rather my brother Kevin. However to Lily it was Uncle Kevin and Aunt Juliana’s big day and since I try to talk to Lily as much as possible and I refer to my brother as “Uncle Kevin” more now than I use his real name. Lily Harper was back in the US for her second trip to America and third international trip this past week.
I could not be happier to share that my brother married an amazing girl from our home town, though they only connected for the first time as adults. It was an unseasonably warm day filled with on-and-off showers but it came together beautifully and you can really see the love.
Real talk though, Lily was not an amazing baby for the wedding. She cried through most of the ceremony, refused a bottle the whole weekend, and caused me to miss a good amount of the reception. That said, she’s five months old. She was a jet lagged baby and we pushed it not only fully disrupting her schedule but waking her up from naps and leaving her with a new babysitter. Given all these factors Lily did well and it was an amazing weekend.
Here are a few of my favorite behind the scenes photos from the big day (I can’t wait to see the professional ones!)

my mom was wearing the XSCAPE Embroidered Formal Full Length Gown with Appliques (similar)

What do you think of these behind the scenes photos from Kevin’s Wedding?

Great photos and I wish that you were at my wedding taking these kinds of photos to supplement the professional photographer. Sometimes the professional ones are so stiff and in yours everyone looks so happy and just in the happiness moment that a wedding should have.
I also really like your dress and I wish I had shoulders that could pull that look off.

Love the photos and how romantic that they have a castle as a backdrop for several of the photos.
Did you feel like you were in a movie set? How fun and picturesque.

Looks like it was a magical day and Lily is adorable in the dress. Fantastic how she was smiling in so many of the photos and looking like the perfect mini flower girl.
Congratulations to your brother.

Welcome home. Weddings are always fun. Especially if its your brother. Lovely dress and you look great. Looks to me the baby weight is gone. Baby looks so happy too.
