If you have somehow escaped the mania of Barbie the Movie I am not sure where you have been. Three weeks ago when the film opened the buzz was all about Barbenheimer, a dichotomy of the bubbly Barbie fantasy comedy and Oppenheimer- the thriller athe physicist who developed the nuclear bomb. With a little one I have sadly seen niether film but I seem to be in the minority as headlines like ‘Barbie’ makes history with $1 billion at the box office are trending globally this morning. Instead of record sales though I want to show someo of the collaborations that Mattel (the creators of Barbie) launched with a whole host of brands in celebration of the movie. My girlfriend is obsessed with all things Barbie. I’m just catching up on my favorite blogs this weekend and I’m definitely going to have to order her one of the sweatshirts. I keep going back-and-forth between the white one in the pink one so by the end of today I will have to just pick one.
