Welcome back to Fashion Friday and hello Summer 2023. It is finally going to be warm in London this weekend and I could not be more expected. The past two months while the calendar said June and July it felt more like October here in London with grey skies, quite a bit of rain, and very low temperatures. Not needing to bring a jacket outside will be such a welcome change. Getting to a point of not even needing a dress with sleeves will be a dream and then I can dress Lily in some of her adorable outfits – what a bonus!
This knee length dress could definitely cover a few seasons – you could wear it in Spring, Summer, Autumn for a variety of occasions but I must admit, it has two negatives. Anything with “hand wash” is an automatic red flag in my book now and the sleeves flip over to the white underside of the dress every time you lift your arms. That said, take a look:

Lovely stylish red/pink dress. Perfect for the Barbie movie. Cute wedge sandals too. Dresses like this I love to wear as long as its not too cold. Works well for a warm Spring/Fall day too. As for your cold summer that is why I would not want to live in the UK. I need a real summer where I can wear my summer fashion as much as possible. June to September for me is jacket in the closet and not to be thought about.
